Museum Passes

**Please note that most museums are currently closed due to COVID-19, and those that are open may not be accepting library passes.** 

All museum bookings are currently made online at our Event Keeper site or by calling the library at 781-878-1236.

The Library's museum passes are available to Old Colony Library Network (OCLN) library patrons with cards in good standing. Patrons must pick up a pass with the same card that was used to reserve it. The card must be in good standing (less than $10 owed) at the time of booking and the time of pickup. No exceptions.

Only one pass is available per day for each location. Only one pass may be used per resident, per day. Only one pass is available for each of the museums per day.

Passes That Do Not Have to Be Returned

  • Boston Children's Museum: Admits up to four people at $8.50 per person. Children under one year old are admitted for free. Funded by the Rockland Memorial Library Foundation, Inc.
  • Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum: Admits up to 4 people at $5 per person. Children under 18 years of age admitted for free. Open Wednesday through Monday 11 am to 5 pm, Thursday until 9 pm Funded by the Rockland Memorial Library Foundation, Inc.
  • Museum of Fine Arts: Admits 2 people at $10 per person. Children under 6 years of age admitted for free. Ages 7 to 17 admitted free on weekends. Funded by the Rockland Memorial Library Foundation, Inc.
  • Museum of Science, Boston: Admits up to 4 people at $10 per person beginning January 1, 2015. Children under 3 years of age admitted for free. Funded by the Rockland Memorial Library Foundation, Inc.
  • New England Aquarium: Admits up to 4 people at the rate of $15.50 for adults, $11 for children ages 3 to 11, and $14.50 for seniors over age 60. Children under age 3 are admitted free. Funded by the Rockland Memorial Library Foundation, Inc.

Passes That Must Be Returned to the Library

  • Roger Williams Park Zoo: Admits up to 4 people at a $3 discount. Children under 2 years of age admitted for free. Funded by the Rockland Memorial Library Foundation, Inc. The library charges a $5 per day late fee and a $25 replacement fee if the pass is lost.
  • Massachusetts State Parks Pass: Pass admits 1 vehicle for free parking, excludes buses or vans. Funded by the Massachusetts Department of Conservation. The library charges a $5 per day late fee and a $60 replacement fee if lost.
