Temporary Hold on Water - Details:
The temporary hold on water approvals has been partially lifted by the Board of Water Commissioners.
Single-family homes and renovations – consideration will be given after the “Request for Water” Application has been submitted and reviewed by the Superintendent.
Fees/mitigation will be assessed during the approval process and must be carried out prior to approval.

Invitation to Bid Water Treatment Plant Residuals Removal and Disposal
INVITATION TO BID WATER TREATMENT PLANT RESIDUALS REMOVAL AND DISPOSAL Sealed Bids for the “Water Treatment Plant Residuals Removal and Disposal” project will be received by Abington-Rockland Joint Water Works, 835 Hingham Street, Rockland, MA 02370, until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 2, 2023. In general, the work to be done under this contract shall include: excavation, transportation and disposal of approximately 1,200 cubic yards of dewatered residuals from the Hingham Street Water Treatment Plant, Rockland, MA, to an approved disposal facility. All interested Contractors are advised to attend the Pre-Bid Meeting to be held on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, 11:00 AM at the Hingham Street Water Treatment Plant, 835 Hingham, Street, Rockland, MA. Contract Documents may be examined and obtained at the office of H2Olson Engineering, Inc., 10 Riverside Drive, Suite 103, MA 02347 (Contact Stephen Olson, 508-375-7007, sco@h2olsonengineering.com) beginning on Wednesday February 8, 2023.
