The Rockland Board of Sewer Commissioners, acting with the Town of Rockland’s Procurement Officer, is seeking sealed bids to convert our existing Ejector Pump Station to a submersible wet well. Bids are to include submersible pumps with transducer level controls and back-up floats.  The full Request for Bid package is available for download online at https://www.rockland-ma.gov/Bids.aspx.

Bidders are responsible for any by-pass pumping as needed for the duration of the project. 

The existing Pump Station is located at 76 Spruce Street Rockland, Massachusetts 02370.

Sealed bids will be received at the Office of the Rockland Sewer Department, 587R Summer Street, Rockland Massachusetts 02370 until 2 PM, on Thursday, October 26, 2023 at which time and place said bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

It is the intention of the Board to award the contract to the lowest responsible and eligible bidder.

A mandatory site walk and an opportunity to ask questions will be conducted on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at 10 AM at the site of the station located at 76 Spruce Street, Rockland. An opportunity to view the plans and any other documentation will be made available after the visit.

Original Drawings of the Pump Station are available for viewing in-person at the Rockland Wastewater Treatment Facility, 587 R Summer Street, Rockland, Ma. 02370 between the hours of 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM Monday through Thursday.  Prior notice is required.

The bidding and award of the contract shall be in full compliance with M.G.L. chapter 30, section 39M.  The Rockland Board of Sewer Commissioners reserves the right to reject any/all bids.
