Rockland Cultural Council

Have you heard about us? If not, you will by the time you leave this website. To start, we are a local agency supported by state agency, Mass Cultural Council, who promotes excellence, inclusion, education, and diversity in the arts, humanities, and sciences.
The purpose of Rockland Cultural Council (RCC) is to provide arts and cultural programs of excellence to our citizens. It is our goal to tap the resources of as many of the arts as possible to provide diverse programming for all age groups. We try to touch as large a percentage of people as possible with each event. Many programs and activities are free or limited in cost thanks to grants awarded to various organizations, municipal services, or individuals.
Have you been to Sandpaper Factory or The Wright Building for the 4th Floor Artists Open Studios?
Were you at Rockland Day's Friday night concert listening to Living on a Bad Name?
Did your children participate in Rockland Memorial Library's Summer Reading Program?
Has your family taken advantage of using museum passes from the library?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you know the benefits of RCC. You also know why we boast about our amazing arts & culture community. It's vibrant and thriving!
Great Grant News!
We are excited to announce Mass Cultural Council has awarded the Festivals & Projects Grant to Open Road Coffeehouse and Rockland Recreation. Mass Cultural Council supports efforts that celebrate vibrant cultural programs and public activities that incorporate the arts, humanities, or sciences. The grants will fund Open Road Coffeehouse's 2023-2024 series and Rockland Fall Festival to be held on September 30th.
