ADDITIONAL COVID-19 AT-HOME RAPID TEST AVAILABLE FOR ROCKLAND RESIDENTS

Rockland, MA – The Town of Rockland announced today that its recent drive-thru distribution of iHealth COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Tests held on Saturday February 12, 2022 was a success, and that the Town still has a large supply of test kits that remain available for the public.  “We were very pleased with the results of the drive-thru distribution center and would like to thank our Fire and Police Departments, as well as our volunteer Community Emergency Response Team members, for all their efforts,” said Town Administrator Douglas Lapp.

The Town will be making the remaining test kits available to Rockland residents for free at the Town Hall’s Board of Health office and Town Administrator/Board of Selectmen office Monday through Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm, and until 8:00pm on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month, beginning on Tuesday February 15, 2022.  Test kits will also be available at the Senior Center and the McKinley Community Center (Recreation Department, front office) during their regular business hours as well.

Distribution at all locations will be limited to two (2) boxes, each containing two (2) individual tests, per household per week.  Test kits will be given out on a first come-first serve basis, while supplies last, until further notice.  Residents must show valid proof of current residency in Rockland to be eligible, such as a driver’s license, other government issued ID, lease, or utility bill.

The Town will be posting updated information at https://www.rockland-ma.gov/ and on Twitter @RocklandTown and Facebook https://www.facebook.com/townofrockland if updates become available.
