[ARCHIVED] High Winds Expected Tonight into tomorrow

 HI WINDS EXPECTED TONIGHT FEBRUARY 17, 2022 INTO FRIDAY MORNING

 

The Rockland Board of Health would like to remind residents that are serviced on Friday's route, not to leave Trash & Recycling Totes out overnight Thursday, February 17, 2022, as high winds are expected.

 

“The National Weather Service (NWS) is forecasting strong winds late tonight into Friday morning. The highest winds will occur between midnight and late morning on Friday, especially across southeastern Massachusetts. 

 

In addition to strong winds, rain is forecast to begin late tonight with the heaviest around midnight and taper off at 8 AM on Friday. A total of up to one inch of rain is expected across the state. 

 

AT THIS TIME THERE IS NO DELAY. PLEASE HAVE TOTES CURBSIDE NO SOONER THAN 7:00 AM ON Friday, February 18, 2022
