[ARCHIVED] Plymouth County Mosquito Control truck spraying

TO ALL RESIDENTS

Plymouth County Mosquito Control will be conducting a truck-based town-wide mosquito spray on 8/16/2022 between 2 AM and sunrise in response to a West Nile Virus-positive mosquito sample. Pesticide applications are made via an ultra-low volume(ULV) sprayer that is mounted on a pickup truck. Typically spraying is done from the street and can travel up to 300 feet.

ULV sprayers dispense very fine aerosol droplets that stay in the air and kill adult mosquitoes on contact. Most droplets don’t reach the ground and there is no residual effect of the product. No special precautions are necessary during or after the spray.

If your property is registered as an exclusion from wide area spraying your property will not be sprayed.
